XFact can either be a Cube Fact for which the user would give the full specification of the columns and storages or can be a Virtual fact, for which the user would specify only the Source fact and filters if any. Virtual fact derives its columns and storage specific details all from the source Fact. It can however have different properties associated with it than the source.
